On June 14, 2012, Michael Wallis joined the cast and crew of Cars for the grand opening celebration of Cars Land — the newest addition to Disneyland’s California Adventure Park. Cars Land saw record breaking attendance during the grand opening, welcoming 43,000 visitors.

Cars Land is due to open at the Disney California Adventure Park in the summer of 2012. This 12-acre recreation of the town of Radiator Springs will feature several of the Cars characters, including the Sheriff as voiced by Michael Wallis.
